Scholarships and Bursaries
For full information on the cost of your course please see the university’s student finance section. We offer our physics students a number of bursaries:
- Lancaster Physics Department Scholarships (Open to Overseas Students):
- The Department of Physics is rewarding excellence by providing Scholarships of £1,000 in year one (only) to all those students who choose a Lancaster University Physics course as their firm choice with UCAS and achieve exceptional A-level grades in A-level mathematics and physics. We have not yet set the threshold for this award, but it is expected to be A*A - A*A*. Overseas Students may qualify for this award if they attain exceptional grades in their exams (please contact us for further details).

- Dangoor Scholarship:
- Awarded to British students who are studying a science subject at Lancaster University. Lancaster University is expecting to award around 30 scholarships, each worth £1,000, to eligible students to help support their studies.
