Cryostat 5
Commissioned in 1999, this cryostat is our most modern and advanced system to date. The dilution refrigerator present in this cryostat cools to below 1.8 mK under continuous operation and, coupled with a nested nuclear demagnetisation stage, this cryostat enables ready access to the ultra-low temperature regime.
