The Cassini spacecraft has been at Saturn for a decade. In situ measurements of the plasma and magnetic fields in the planet's magnetosphere have provided an enormous set of high quality data. Moreover, some impressive computer simulations have been done. Nonetheless, some fundamental puzzles remain and the author will bring some basic ideas from Magnetohydrodynamics to bear on these problems.
