By Air

Ljubljana Airport - LJU (25 km from Ljubljana City)
Slovenia's national airline, Adria Airways, has frequent flights between Ljubljana's Brnik airport (LJU) and many cities in Europe, as well as Tel Aviv. Easyjet and Wizz Air fly from western Europe to Ljubljana. See more about the Access to the Airport.
Trieste Airport - TRS (130 km from Ljubljana City)
Klagenfurt Airport - KLU (85 km from Ljubljana City)
Venezia Terviso Airport - TSF (200 km from Ljubljana City). Cheap flights from all over Europe, with two train connections per day to Ljubljana. Alternatively you can rent a car and drive from the airport.

By Bus and by Railway

Ljubljana bus and railway station are located next to each other a walking distance from Ljubljana City centre. The main train routes into Slovenia come from Salzburg, Trieste, Vienna and Zagreb. See bus timetable and train timetable for the Slovenian railway.

By Car

Slovenia is connected by motorways to all surrounding countries; Italy, Austria, Hungary, and Croatia. A car can also be a good way to get to some of the most beautiful and isolated towns and villages in Slovenia, and rental prices are reasonable. Slovenians drive on the right. See Slovenian Auto-Moto Association for current road conditions.
